Blog

I have added a new category to the blog for those of us who have an interest in the Microsoft SharePoint space. Anyone who has used MOSS 2007 will no doubt have many dislikes with the current version and waiting with interest of what the 2010 version will bring.

Renamed as SharePoint 2010, the new version has some amazing new features. I have been playing around with the Beta version in a virtual machine and it looks very slick from the first glance. Read more…

Dropbox is an excellent new cloud storage program for storing and syncing files. The service enables users to store and sync files online and between computers. Dropbox has a cross-platform client that enables users to drop any file into a Dropbox folder that is then synced to the web and the users’ other computers with the Dropbox client. Sign up now!

I have recently written an article on my visit to the British Airways training simulators at Cranebank near Heathrow in London. This has since been published on the popular flight sim website flightsim.com. You can read the full article here. Hope you enjoy!

I have finally took the plunge and booked a session in the full size simulators at British Airways at London Heathrow. These are the real deal – the full motion simulators that the British Airways pilots use. Have fancied it for a while now and so should be heading off within the next few months all being well to see how good I am in the 737-400! If all goes to plan I hope to add a blog entry on how it goes. Watch this space for updates!
