Since sampling Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 at a relatives house, I have owned every version of MSFS to date. After some long training flights in the small props to progressing on to the bigger jets like the PMDG 737, it all has been a big learning experience. With many addons available now it really is as real as it gets.

Since I was about 2 years old I have enjoyed the helicopters from RAF Aldergrove flying overhead prompting a life-long interest in aviation. After spending 3 summers working up at Aldergrove, I feel it will always be part of me. Whether it was the good old Securicor days or as a flight dispatcher, I loved every minute of it! Once I got airside access it opened up a new world to me.

The first radio I got was one Christmas when I must have been about 12. A scanner soon followed and I still own 2 models today. With many systems going to newer technology not much can be picked up on a wideband scanner in this area but most days I will be tuned to the local airband frequencies.
